Evann + Kyle // Boonville Wedding
After almost a full year of cancelled weddings and what felt like never leaving the house (or my sweatpants) in 2020, this year has brought me more podcast-infused road trips (Armchair Expert or Smartless, anyone??), and great-slash-mediocre hotel rooms than ever before, and all in the name of a 'full steam ahead'-esque wedding season that is currently in full force. Due to these 2020 rescheduled weddings + new clientele, my comfortable, 14 weddings/year average has doubled to 28 weddings, and while I'm still adjusting to this new workload, I have tried very hard to not rush my process of delivering one of a kind images (memories) to my clients. All this is to say that Evann and Kyle had a dream wedding in Boonville back in June, and they've waited so patiently for the delivery of their wedding gallery, and I am beyond thrilled for their eyeballs to see these images for the first time.
This wedding day was absolutely flawless and I'm not kidding when I say that both Evann and Kyle were the easiest humans to work with. Without meeting me in person beforehand, they still gave me their full trust and complete creative control to do my thing for this entire day, and I loved every minute of working with them. From the heartfelt speeches from friends and family, along with the kindness they extended to me on this day, it was easy to learn how much this couple is loved and admired by all. Cheers to this amazing couple and thank you for allowing me to lurk in the background of your wedding day.

Tricia + Patrick // Temecula Olive Oil Ranch Wedding
After an entirely cancelled 2020 wedding season, I am slowly-now-quickly getting back into the swing of things, and while my schedule is jam-packed with 2020 rescheduled weddings + new clients, I am so happy (+relieved) to be working again, and to finally shoot these weddings that my clients unfortunately have had to reschedule so.many.times.
You may remember Tricia and Patrick from this engagement session, and I knew from that day on that we were a kindred match, and I have spent every day since counting down to their wedding day. I had heard so much about this venue from the Tricia, and I learned that she helped to plant these olive oil trees with her dad and grandpa when she was a little girl, but I was definitely not prepared for the beauty and uniqueness of this location upon arrival. The denseness of the olive oil tree "forest" was something out of a fairytale, and the intricate details of the ceremony site and the A team of artists that brought it all together truly made this day beyond memorable, and one that I feel so lucky to have been a part of.
This wedding day was one for the books, and I am so proud of this couple for their wedding planning perseverance, despite all the obstacles that 2020 brought them.
Shoutout to all the amazingly talented vendors who helped to make this day the very best:

D.Lillian Photography Associate Shooter
Meet my beautiful, kind-hearted, insanely talented partner photographer, Greer Rivera. She is not only a dear friend, but truly one of the most talented photographers I am so lucky to know, and my number one resource for all of my photography-related conundrums. Beyond our personal friendship, we have worked alongside of each other for a handful of weddings, and I love our intuitive workflow that we bring with us to every wedding.
No photographer has the same, identical vision, yet, our photography styles have a certain cohesion, and both of our passions are aimed at telling personal love stories through a photojournalist lens. And perhaps the best part beyond her sheer talent? She's really, reeeeally fun and brings ALL the good energy with her, everywhere she goes. Greer and I are excited to announce that we have decided to join forces to better accommodate our growing list of amazing clients. By virtue of bringing Greer on as my partner photographer, she will be working under my brand, and has been trained to represent D. Lillian Photography. In other words, you can expect to get the same quality of work, aesthetic, and overall experience from Greer, as if you were working with me. All pre-wedding consulting and preparation will be done by me, as well as all the editing, so your wedding day images will have the D. Lillian Photography aesthetic you see in my portfolio.

A personal note from Greer:
Hi I’m Greer,
I’m a fun-loving, adventure seeking, outdoorsy, chai drinking island girl. I’m mama to a spunky and fearless 3 year old little girl named Tanzin, and I live in Mill Valley, CA with my boyfriend, Travis and our dog, Lucca.
I love to travel, and I have a deep love and respect for the ocean. My favorite weekend activity is packing up our little family and spending the day at the beach. I love hiking, being outdoors, 90’s music, reggae, a really good lemonade and a home filled with music. I’m definitely a dog person and I’m always up for a good adventure, especially a spontaneous one. My favorite smell is a wood fire burning and my favorite sound is my daughter’s laugh.
I’m a romantic at heart and I love islands. I was raised on Martha’s Vineyard and lived on St.John in the Caribbean for ten winters, that's where I started my business in 2007, adopted Lucca, lived on a sailboat, swam everyday, and danced to a little too much reggae!
I love natural light, real and authentic emotion, playful images and for people to be themselves and let their true love shine through. I am inspired by people in love and who live life to the fullest, I love hearing people's life stories and hope to hear yours!

Meet my beautiful, kind-hearted, insanely talented partner photographer, Jess Hensley.
Jess and I are excited to announce that we have decided to join forces to better accommodate our growing list of amazing clients. We have developed a partner photographer pricing collection for our clients whose wedding dates and/or wedding budgets are a bit lower than my current rates. By virtue of bringing Jess on as my partner photographer, she will be working under my brand, and has been trained to represent D. Lillian Photography. Although the partner photography pricing is lower, you are still getting the same quality of work, same aesthetic, and same overall experience as if you were working with me. All pre-wedding consulting and preparation will be done by me, as well as all the editing, so your wedding day images will have the D. Lillian Photography aesthetic you see in my portfolio.
Collection Jess starts at $5000, and includes the following:
-8 hours of coverage
-online gallery
-download link of high resolution, edited images
Add-ons include:
engagement session: $700
second shooter: $500
additional coverage: $500/hour.

Blog Update
Hi guys. For those of you who have stumbled upon my page for the first time or frequented it a handful of times, you're probably noticing a huge gaping hole better known as the blog section of my website. Long (+sad) story short, the hosting company that I was with for years suffered a server crash, and their backups also became corrupt, and hundreds (possibly thousands) of photographers like myself lost EVERYTHING. I worked as quickly as wedding season would allow to get this new site up and running, but unfortunately nothing was salvaged with my blog. For those of you who are familiar with my work, you know that I basically pour my heart out with each and every wedding that I post. I share my wedding day experiences, "how they met" anecdotes, how hard I fall in love with these couples, and how proud I am to tell their love story. I posted this picture I took in Joshua Tree a few years back because it puts me at peace, because losing years of all of these public "career diary" entries kind of REALLY breaks my heart.I'll be (slowly) rebuilding what I can with past weddings that best reflect my personal style in this blog section. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding ALSO I NEED A HUG.
