How do Jen Farris and I know each other? We used to sling sushi and serve hot sake to wild college students/foreigners/San Diego’s “cool” crowd that preferred loud hip hop and drinks called “Shisho Naughty”over the traditional sushi experience. We used to sit in the break room and commiserate on our side work together, begging for a bite of the other’s food while simultaneously pulling pieces of rice off the other’s shirt/hair. We were young, driven, and absolutely clueless about what life had in store for us.
Fast forward to five years later and this same girl is engaged to a real-life, modern day prince charming. That both reads and sounds ridiculous, but once you meet Mack, you’ll just get it. His kindness is apparent almost immediately after I shake his hand as he instinctively goes to reach for my camera equipment, while reaching for Jen’s hand with the other. He calls her “babe” whenever it fits in a sentence and the two are just so completely talented at being wonderful human beings to each other that it would give even the non-believers hope there is is somebody perfect for everybody.
Congrats to these babes and commence my obsession with them. October 13th cannot get here soon enough.
