California Dreamin’

Jessica Reinosa and I first bonded over our mutual love for haunted houses. We were supposed to be discussing her wedding plans (and how I could fit into them), but we somehow got on the subject of world famous haunted houses and how fascinated we were with anything creepy.  I thought she was going to fall out of her chair when I confessed that my birthday is on Halloween, but instead, she agreed to let me be her wedding photographer, right on the spot.

Never have I met anyone more organized than Jessica and Justin, combined. On the night of our first meeting, I received an email from “jjwed720@yahoo.com” and knew that they were organized enough to create an email address designated for anything wedding related…SMART. They had their e-session theme completely planned out, and were beyond natural in front of the camera to the point where I was convinced they’ve done a handful of engagement sessions before (they haven’t).

Being around them for only a day made me re-fall in love with being in love. Watching the way Justin would carry Jessica’s things without even thinking about it, and the way he would brush her hair out of her eyes just so that he can see them would make even the weak at heart smile. I’ve known him for less than two months, but I knew in a day that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her.

My obsession with these two continues to grow, and will probably explode sometime on July 20th, 2012 at the Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego. Leave it to Jessica to find a haunted hotel wedding venue… (I’m stoked).

[...] I haven’t known Jessica and Justin for very long (you might remember them from this e-session), I do know how they met, and this is perhaps what makes this story so gush-worthy. [...]
